Mizuno's Environmental Program

Mizuno Corporation's Environmental Program C.R.E.W. 21 was established in 1991, and takes the first letters from Conservation of Resources and Environment Wave towards the 21st Century. It incorporates the idea of everybody being responsible for the spaceship called "Earth" that we live on.

At Mizuno we have taken this environmental responsibility seriously. It is exemplified in the many ways we do our business both in and out of the office. Here are just some small examples of our efforts:

Recycling -> Mizuno Corporation feels strongly about recycling and supports any action that we can do to give back to the environment. We actively participate in a company-wide paper recycling program. In addition to this, you will note that all of our footwear boxes are made from 100% recycled paper. We even offer a Christmas tree recycling program for employees, where old Christmas trees can be ground up and used as mulch for various public or private landscaping needs.

Clean Air Campaign - Mizuno Employees have been challenged and have stepped up to the plate to improve the air quality by taking alternative transportation to work. Many members of our company have volunteered to car-pool together, aiding in the improvement of the air and traffic quality in our community.

Community Clean up & BeautificationProjects - Mizuno employees aim to better our community and do this through various corporate sponsored events aimed at the beautification of our community. It is not uncommon to find Mizuno employees cleaning and restoring major roads, rivers, streams and parks in our area to ensure a cleaner and healthier environment for all.
