Asics Lady Gel Kinsei 3 Running Shoes. Summer/Spring 2010 version. Improving further on this already excellent ASICS premium running shoe. This shoe has been updated with a lighter, more comfortable platform to enhance natural gait efficiency.

  • I.G.S - I.G.S (Impact Guidance System): Meeting the demands of all athletic activities, the I.G.S. (Impact Guidance System is a technical design philosophy that allows the foot to perform in a more natural manner.
  • DuraSponge - A blown AHAR rubber compound for enhanced cushioning and durability in the forefoot.
  • Space Trusstic - An advanced system that creates a pocket between the Trusstic System device and the midsole, allowing for greater midsole deformation and more efficient foot function.
  • Trusstic - A molded component which reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe.
  • Discreet Sole - The GEL-KINSEI featured a revolutionary system for rearfoot cushioning and load guidance based on discrete units of dual density GEL, a world's first technology and chiefly responsible for the extraordinary ride. Due to the availability of new existing technologies, the NEW GEL-KINSEI includes rearfoot and discrete forefoot GEL units, as part of the discrete set-up. The result: Multiplane, multidirectional, instantly responsive load recognition and deflection. Uncompromising athlete protection and a superb ride.
  • Biomorphic Fit - uses high-tech stretch materials to allow the shoe upper to move with the foot. This mean the foot encounters less friction and fabric bunching during specific moments of the gait cycle.
  • Forefoot ASICS GEL cushioning system - The silicone-based, GEL cushioning system in the forefoot reduces the loading forces that would normally be applied as the foot moves into propulsion. This reuduces shear forces and along with flex grooves, enchances propulsion.
  • Rearfoot Asics Gel Cushioning System - When running around the tennis court the foot can typically experience forces of 3 to 5 times the players body weight during heel strike. The GEL cushioning system, in conjunction with the midsole material, absorbs these impact forces.
  • Solyte Midsole - This is a proprietary cushioning material that provides an exceptionally lightweight midsole. Solyte an advanced copolymer is significant lighter than SpEVA or standard EVA with excellent cushioning, bounce back and durability properties.
  • PHF - Personal Heel Fit, is made of a high density foam which moulds perfectly around the shape of the hell and Achilles tendon. This supports reduces slippage and provides comfort and fit. The foam reboudns to its original shape when not in use.
  • Solyte 45 Lasting - ASICS reinvented the lasting method by looking at the way the upper was attached to the tooling. The traditional board has been replaced by Solyte which produces an exceptionally lightweight lasting. It also has a high degree of cushioning and stability through its use of different densities according to the type of athlete.
  • AHAR+ - ASICS High Abrasion Resistance rubber is a tough compound used at the heavy contact areas of the outsole. it helps to reduce excessive wear. AHAR+ is a lighter version of the general AHAR.
  • ComforDry Sockliner - This insole provides the optimum cushioning performance that creates a cooler drier healthier shoe environment.
  • Asymmetrical Lacing - The NEW GEL-KINSEI introduces a radical new upper system that redefines the Biomorphic Fit System. This new version acknowledges the asymmetry of the foot. The shape of the foot is not a pyramid. Rather the highest point of the instep is concentrated medially. The Asymmetrical Lacing System follows the actual anatomical profile of the foot and therefore curves in a medial direction, resulting in a brilliant fit.
  • Wing Construction - The NEW GEL-KINSEI features a unique wing construction over the medial and lateral heel counter designed to improve side-to-side stability and maintain foot position within the shoe. From a design perspective the look is definitely fast and aggressive.
  • Propulsion Trusstic - The all new ASICS Propulsion Trusstic System is the next generation of I.G.S. technology. It follows the principles of enhancing the normal engineering advantages of the foot, working with it to provide stability and push-off power.

A shoe that pushes the boundaries of footwear science. This shoe is perfect for the runner looking for supportive cushioning.
