Introducing the new ASICS GEL-3030, Spring/Summer 2012 version, bag full of technology.
This is a top end support shoe combining performance and stability topped with the famous ASICS's GEL system in the fore and rear foot for optimal shock absorption.

Asymmetric lacing gives greater comfort and better fit, the sockliner has been upgraded to the X40 ComforDry version for a healthier shoe environment and the upper has been made with a high tech eco-friendly material.
- ***UPDATE***AHAR+ (ASICS High Abrasive Rubber) - This is a thinner and lighter version of ASICS High Abrasion Rubber. It is placed on heavy contact areas of the outsole to reduce excessive wear.
- ***UPDATE*** Biomorphic Fit - Biomorphic technology is incorporated into the upper where the areas of highest deformation are found. This ensures a better fit, improved comfort, less risk of injury and enhanced performance.
- ***NEW*** Full-length Guidance Line™ - Vertical flex groove in the sole running from heel to toe whioch encourages a more efficient running style.
- ***UPDATE*** Asymmetrical Lacing system - A lacing system the follows the natural curve of the foot to ensure a perfect fit and less friction.
- ***UPDATE*** X40 ComforDry - An updated version from comfortdry sockliner, this insole provides the optimum cushioning performance system that creates a cooler, drier, healthier shoe environment.
- ***UPDATE*** Gender Specific Mid-foot Design - Incorporated within Space Trusstic a technology to provide for the different biomechanical function exhibited by the male and female midfoot, 3mm of height has been added to the heel of the women;s version to relieve achilles tension.
- SoLyte Midsole™ - A spongy proprietary cushioning material located between the sole and upper layers, this provides an exceptionally lightweight midsole with excellent bounce-back and durability.
- Space Trusstic - An advanced system that creates a pocket between the Trusstic system and the midsole, allowing for greater midsole deformation and more efficient foot function.
- 3M Reflective - A special reflective material that helps enhances visibility in low light conditions.
- Durasponge Rubber Forefoot - A blown AHAR rubber outsole material with high abrasion-resistant qualities for added durability, combined with a comfortable cushioned ride.
- DuoMax Support system - A proprietary ASICS system that consists of two different density midsole materials and designed to provide guidance and control to prevent overpronation.
- Dynamic Forefoot Stability Cradle - A two piece midsole unit providing enhanced forefoot support. Designed to provide additional support without compromising weight or flexibility.
- I.G.S - ASICS Impact Guidance System or I.G.S is a technical shoe design philosophy that allows the athlete's foot to perform in a more natural manner. ASICS high-tech I.G.S shoes are constructed in a way that enhances your natural gait cycle.
- Visible Rearfoot GEL - The ASICS GEL system is based on a special kind of silicon that enables optimal shock absorption. GEL units are strategically placed in the midsole and designed to enable specific functions and positions.
- Visible Forefoot GEL - The ASICS GEL system is based on a special kind of silicon that enables optimal shock absorption. GEL units are strategically placed in the midsole and designed to enable specific functions and positions.

- Personal Heel Fit - A special foam heel construction that guarantees a perfect fit around the wearer's heel.
Research carried out on gender differences in running has led to specific technologies being included in the GEL-3030. 3mm of height has been added to the heel of the women’s version to relieve Achilles tension and a pocket of air in the sole allows for the normal periodic changes in the arch of the foot.
A top-end running shoe specially designed for the severely over-pronate runner who needs full support to give them a natural running style without damaging their ankle.
