Product Description

With a black leather upper, the Asics GEL Cardio continues to advance with even more technologies to enhance the walking experience. Specific technologies designed to enhance comfort and fit make the shoe suitable for type II diabetes sufferers.
  • Personal Heel Fit:A special foam heel construction that guarantees a perfect fit around the wearer’s heel.
  • 3M Reflective: Improved footwear visibility when walking in low level light.
  • Shine up/ Water magic:Treatment applied to the leather upper to improve shine and water repellence.
  • Bamboo Charcoal Lining: A special antibacterial lining to the inner of the shoe that absorbs moisture and odour whilst keeping the shoe fresh and breathable.
  • Long Vamp: Increases flexibility of the upper material in the forefoot and reduces friction and any risk of irritation.
  • Hardboard insole: A slightly firmer EVA material than a traditional sports shoe increases proprioceptive feedback and helps stimulate sensation in the feet, as well as providing optimum cushioning and shock absorption.
  • SpEVA Midsole:A supreme midsole material that improves bounce-back characteristics and decreases midsole breakdown.
  • DuoMax: A proprietary ASICS system that consists of two different density midsole materials and designed to provide guidance and control to prevent overpronation.
  • Rearfoot GEL:The ASICS GEL system is based on a special kind of silicon that enables optimal shock absorption. GEL units are strategically placed in the midsole and designed to enable specific functions and positions.
  • Forefoot GEL: The ASICS GEL system is based on a special kind of silicon that enables optimal shock absorption. GEL units are strategically placed in the midsole and designed to enable specific functions and positions.
  • Trusstic:A molded component under the mid-foot area. Provides stability and in combination with the contoured midsole helps to control torsional stability.
  • AHAR+:This is a thinner and lighter version of ASICS High Abrasion Rubber. It is placed on heavy contact areas of the outsole to reduce excessive wear.
  • SpEVA 45 lasted: Enhancing the cushioning and support by utilizing SpEVA in the construction of the shoe between the midsole and the upper. Adjusted in density specific to the level of support required from the walking shoe.
