This shoe is packed with so many features to talk about. The shoe that launched BioMoGo, the industry.
This is the high end support shoe from Brooks, designed for the serious runner. This latest version features the NEW full-length DNA, which is inserted over the complete length of the midsole in the form of a footprint giving the athlete an adaptive and individually adjusted damping at the three decisive anatomical points heel bone, tarsal bone and the 1st metatarsus bone.
- E-Fusion - This new compound outperforms traditional rubber outsoles in wet and dry skid resistance, abrasion loss, and resiliency. This will give you more durability and grip in wet conditions.
- Pod Tech - A system of 'pods' in the midsole and outsole enabling the shoe to bend and flex more naturally while still supporting the foot at its most critical points.
- Hydroflow - fluid-filled centre chamber reduces the shock at impact and take off and dynamically disperses fluid at a controlled rate around the heel cushioning, stabilising and rebounding on every stride. Plus, it's designed to never wear out.
- DRB ACCEL - promotes natural movement between the heel and forefoot, This component utilises varying durometers of thermoplastics which provide the torsional midfoot support runners need.
- P-DRB ( progressive diagonal rollbar) - dual density post is biomechanically engineered to allow for progressive pronation control meaning your foot is placed in a more natural position when landing and taking off.
- Element - mesh upper technology facilitates ventilation and vapor transfer.
- HPR PLUS - a higher durability, abrasion-resistant rubber outsole compound that wears longer.
- BIOMOGO - Brooks introduces the first-ever biodegradable running shoe midsole
- Full-length DNA - inserted over the complete length of the midsole in the form of a footprint giving the athlete an adaptive and individually adjusted damping at the three decisive anatomical points heel bone, tarsal bone and the 1st metatarsus bone.
- Heel Cradle - optimises the fit on the heel and provides more direction.
- Element - mesh upper technology facilitates ventilation and vapor transfer.
- DNA - Provides superb shock absorption and energy feedback. Helping prevent impact related injuries.
The Trance 10 is a top quality support shoe which helps prevent over-pronation and keep your feet comfortable no matter how many miles you do.
With the Trance 10, we're confident you won't be let down.
BIOMOGO - the Bio-Degradable Midsole
BioMoGo, the first fully bio-degradable midsole, sticks to the promise of our brand: BROOKS RUNS GREEN.

How does Hydroflow work?

When pressure is applied to the central chamber, the liquid is displaced into the outer ducts. The central chamber decreases in volume accordingly and thereby dampens the impact. As the pressure on the chamber is decreased, the liquids retract back into it and are charged again for the next impact.
How does Brooks DNA?
Brooks DNA always offers a perfect balance between shock absorption and energy feedback. The material itself is less of a solid than an extremely viscous liquid that behaves like millions of small elastic springs on a molecular level. The ground-breaking BROOKS DNA™ shock absorption technology hence immediately adjusts to the specific biomechanics, speed and weight of every runner.

MOGO
The midsole with unique dampening properties. Good fit, comfort and long-lasting cushioning! The ground breaking midsole material MoGo is loved by all runners.
How does MoGo work?
The new midsole material MoGo is an ingenious polymer structure that is more durable than EVA material, it offers a softer, more flexible running experience.

BIOMOGO
The bio-degradable unique midsole
As always, Brooks is a step ahead in innovative products. BioMoGo, the first fully bio-degradable midsole, sticks to the promise of the brand: BROOKS RUNS GREEN.

DNA
BROOKS DNA Always offers a perfect balance between shock absorption and energy feedback. The material itself is less of a solid more of an highly viscous liquid that behaves like millions of small elastic springs on a much smaller molecular level. The ground-breaking BROOKS DNA shock absorption technology immediately adjusts to the specific biomechanics, speed and weight of every runner.
BROOKS have thoroughly analysed a large number of runners and running styles in order to develop the special form of the DNA-elements. This way BROOKS found out where the pressure load of the sole is the greatest, and integrated the DNA -elements at these very spots.

Hydroflow
HydroFlow - the very established cushioning system from Brooks
HydroFlow is a system of chambers sitting under the heel area of the midsole. The contained silicone-oil compound dampens the impact of the ground on the foot and offers optimal shock absorbtion and comfort. HydroFlow is used in all Brooks shoes.

HPR
HPR High Performance Rubber
HPR is an abrasion-resistant rubber outsole compound that has higher durability and wears longer.

HPR GREEN
These midsole and outsole components are engineered to set the foot in an efficient, balanced position from heel strike to toe-off, offering exceptional flexibility and an unrestricted forefoot ride.

DRB
DRB Diagonal Rollbar
A high density post at the medial arch is engineered for pronation control and creates a smoother transition from the midstance phase into the propulsion phase.

PDRB
PDRB - Progressive Diagonal Rollbar
PDRB - Our dual density post is biomechanically engineered to allow for progressive pronation control and creates a smoother transition from the midstance phase into the propulsion phase.

PIVOT
Pivot - The stability element for uneven surfaces
The Pivot-Technology reduces the danger of losing contact with the surface on uneven ground.
How does Pivot work?
The two Pivot-posts in the sole are constructed to work separately, maintaining the parts of the shoe that are not in contact with the unevenness to maintain full contact with the surface. In such a situation, Pivot™ maintains optimal traction.

DRB Accel
DRB Accel
A shank-like thermoplastic device provides torsional rigidity to the midfoot, enhancing support while allowing the heel and forefoot to act independently.

Podtech
PodTech - Podular Technology
PodTech: midsole and outsole components are engineered to set the foot in an efficient, balanced position from heel strike to toe-off, offering exceptional flexibility and an unrestricted forefoot ride.

Element
Element is an upper technology featuring superior microfibre construction to provide weather protection in a light, supple and quiet fabric that doesn’t sacrifice breathability, durability and comfort

BRS - Ballistic Rock Shield
The BRS system has been introduced to reduce the point load pressure from stones, branches etc. A ballistic textile in the forefoot disperses this pressure, while still keeping the forefoot flexible for a terrain compliant ride.
Regular soles pass the pressure almost uncushioned straight through to the foot.
Brooks® Ballistic Rock Shield has been designed to disperse the energy on to a much larger area, causing the forefoot far less agitation.

S-257 Cushsole
A durable, energy-efficient midsole compound used as an insole board for even more cushioning and flexibility.

e-Fusion
This midsole compound works in conjunction with HydroFlow and BioMoGo to progressively dampen the forces of energy that occur during the contact phase. It also increases the resilience under the midfoot, resulting in a more powerful propulsion.
