Mizuno Wave Inspire 6 Running Shoes

The new version of the Mizuno Wave Inspire is as cushioned, stable shoe which is as comfortable as ever but it now has Mizuno's new Gender Specific Engineering which means that they are designed especially for men's running needs. • NEW - This shoe is now gender specific to men. Research carried out by Mizuno has indicated that there is a significant difference between the biomechanics of men's and women's running gaits. The tests revealed that the angle velocity and speed of pronation is higher in women than in men. The research also found that the transition of the foot strike is slower in men than in women and also the angle of the foot strike is more severe in women than in men. Due to this research Mizuno have tried to design the trainers to accomodate for these differences.

• Airmesh Upper - for lightweight breathability keeping your foot from sweating and over-heating.
• Dynamotion Fit - is the next generation of design technology to maximize fit and performance. Mizuno discovered that traditional footwear distorts in the collar and heel during the gait cycle resulting in heel slippage and a poor fit. This technology relieves the stress the foot naturally places on footwear-eliminating discomfort for a perfect fit.
• X10 Carbon Rubber Outsole - very durable outsole designed to withstand the high impact on the heel
• Smoothride Engineering - minimises the rapid acceleration and decelaration of the foot through the running gait cycle by reducing shock vibration and increasing flexibility
