Cushioned Trail
Inov-8 Lady Terrafly 277 Running Shoes

This shoe is designed by Inov-8 to stand up to both the road and also the trails. The minimal and low profile cushioning makes this shoe very responsive, great for both runs and races for all levels.

  • Terrafly - Premium outsole, designed to be extremely durable, for road or trail running.
  • EVA injected midsole - Cushions your foot when running on the toughest of terrains.
  • Endurance Rubber Compound - This has been formulated for an optimal balance on wear and mixed terrain grip.
  • The 2 Arrow Shoc-Zone™ offers scintillating performance as a race day shoe for club runners, whilst also providing sufficient under foot protection for the elite to use regularly.
  • Gender specific - Designed to match the unique shape of the female foot with a narrower heel.
  • Based on the shape of the foot, this is Inov-8's most natural fit. More room in the toe box allows the toes to spread.
  • Meta Flex All Inov-8 footwear incorporates a meta-flex groove which is anatomically aligned in front of the metatarsal heads to provide a natural fore foot flex

A good choice as a racing shoe for intermediate runners and as a training shoe for more advanced runners.

Shoes

Performanceupper.jpg

Performance Uppers

Quick drying mesh uppers give high breathability. Met-Cradle webbing secures 1st & 5th metatarsal in natural position, firmly holding forefoot in place while maintaining natural metatarsal alignment.

Direct.jpg

Direct Underfoot Comfort

Standard 6mm or 3mm interchangeable footbed with rebound inserts for fine tuning and comfort.

Optimum.jpg

Optimum Cushion

Moulded cupped MidShoc midsole provides the best balance between comfort and underfoot sensitivity.

Shank4.jpg

Meta-shank patent pending

Moulded stiffener with META-FLEX grooves allows metatarsals to take their natural alignment when contouring.

Grip.jpg

Ultimate Grip

Our specially designed outsoles use both our endurance compound and our unique inov-8 sticky rubber compound for extra performance and grip on race day.

For technical footwear a good fit is essential to enhance your performance while running. This is achieved through combining the key elements such as the last and the lacing system. Inov-8 have developed several lasts modelled around the actual shape of a foot, ensuring a secure heel hold while allowing the forefoot to assume a natural unrestricted position throughout the complete running cycle.

Performance1.jpg

Performance Last

Precise fitting last ensures minimal internal movement when contouring, ascending and descending.

Endurance1.jpg

Endurance Last

Generous fitting last offering a comfortable fit. Ideal comfort for training and long distances.

All our shoes give the option for high front lacing which is designed to ensure a good heel hold. This in conjunction with our low heel cut gives the ankle joint a larger range of motion and less pressure on the Achilles heel.

Webbing1.jpg

Webbing upper support

Lacing attached to nylon webbing, cradles and secures the upper behind the metatarsal heads.

Tcu.jpg

TPU lacing

Upper support Lacing attached to polymer upper supports, cradles the foot more evenly.

Structure.jpg

Structure lacing upper support

Lacing attached to synthetic upper cradles and distributes pressure across the metatarsals.

Flex.jpg

Meta-flex (registered design)

All our footwear incorporates a meta-flex groove which is anatomically aligned in front of the metatarsal heads to provide a natural fore foot flex.

Shank.jpg

Meta-shank (patent pending)

New 5-finger meta-shank aligns with each individual metatarsal for greater flexibility when contouring while retaining underfoot impact protection.

Terra.jpg

Terra-shank (registered design)

Polymer shank positioned behind the metatarsal heads providing underfoot protection and extra stability primarily for additional support on longer adventures.

Dual.jpg

Dual Density Posting

The dual density midsole as featured on the flyroc 310 (flyroc 284 W's), roclite 320, terroc 330 (terroc 308 W’s), and roclite 390 GTX has a dense posting on the medial and lateral side leaving a channel down the centre of the shoe to aid flexibility and movement while keeping the shoe neutral. The posting is an aid towards preventing supination and over-pronation.

Biplanar2.jpg

Bi-Planar registered design

Sole design whereby the heel section is curved in two planes aligning with the natural curvature of the heel. This provides a more natural and earlier heel strike to aid descending and contouring.

Cradle.jpg

Met-cradle (registered design)

The upper webbing support in our footwear is anatomically positioned to cradle the fore foot behind the metatarsal heads and provide a secure foot hold.

Shoc-Zone

Our range of products give runners a choice of midsole cushioning denoted by an arrow system moulded into the midsoles.

Shoc.jpg

Traction

One of the most important elements of runner’s footwear is the weight. Our footwear is some of the lightest in the market and to show this we use a unique naming system based on the outsole name and the weight of an average size UK8 shoe. E.g. a Flyroc 310 is built on the Flyroc sole unit and the shoe weighs about 310gms.

Sticky.jpg

Some of our shoes use our exclusive ‘sticky’ rubber compound which has been specially developed using climbing rubber technology. This rubber optimizes grip in wet conditions, however the trade off is it wears down quicker.

Endurance.jpg

Our endurance rubber compound has been formulated for an optimal balance on wear and mixed terrain grip.

Translucent.jpg

Our translucent outsole as used on most of the PK models uses a non-marking rubber compound.

"Inov-8 are a great shoe, I brought these for road running and hard tracks, I have done a couple of long runs(18km) and they are great! always a good fit very true to size!"

"Very light, a good fit, with plenty of room in the toebox. I bought size 4.5, normal shoe size 4. Not as good as Roclite 185 on wet chalk, and probably wouldn't wear them for very muddy and slippery conditions but they cope well with the variety of surfaces that I normally run on."
