Featuring an abundance of Mizuno's technology, including the revolutionary Wave System and SmoothRide Engineering, the Ultima now also offers a full-length AP+ midsole unit which improves cushioning and comfort, whilst being more lightweight than its predecessor. VS-1 rear-foot cushioning helps to also absorb shock and helps minimise the risk of shock related injuries to the foot. Alongside this, Mizuno have also incorporated X-10 durable carbon rubber for the outsole and a new removable insole which can be removed with ease, allowing for addition sole supports.
What is Mizuno Wave?
A unique technology that combines two distinctly different elements that are both inherently necessary in great running shoes, cushioning and stability. Excessive force and stress is placed on upon the body during the act of running, it is therefore imperative to have the correct blend of cushioning and stability to minimise the risk of injury. the wave plate provides excellent cushioning by dispersing the force across a larger surface area.
What is DynaMotion?
Developed by the revolutionary Sozo Studio, extensive high speed video analysis showed how shoes distort in the collar and heel counter during the gait cycle resulting in loss of fit and causing heel slippage. The DynaMotion Fit system allows the upper of the shoe to interact with the movement of the foot. This relieves the stress on the upper which causes the distortion and results in fit being maintained throughout the full range of the movement.
What is X-10?
Durability and Traction. X-10 provides the most durable carbon rubber from Mizuno that allows for longer wear in high impact areas and provides more traction at heel strike.

No, there's no need to contact us before returning your parcel.
Yes, you will need to pay the return postage costs. We also advise that you make sure you have sufficient postal insurance, just in case your parcel goes missing on the way back to us.

No, we'll cover this cost - we won't charge you any additional postage for sending an exchange. We'll send your exchange using standard delivery.
We aim to despatch your replacements within 24 hours of receiving your return, then our usual delivery times apply.
We'll try our best to process your refund within 24 hours of receiving your return but please allow 7 days for busy periods. Don't forget that once we've processed your refund, it can take up to 72 hours to show up in your account.
We'll refund you via your original payment method, except in the case of postal orders where we'll refund you by cheque.
