Battery Life

Delivering reliable battery life, the COROS PACE 4 keeps you covered over lengthened periods of time, letting you focus on the run instead of your wrist. Providing you with 41 hours straight of GPS tracking and 19 days of daily use, or 31 hours straight of GPS tracking and 6 days of daily use while using AlwaysOn. With an estimated charging time of two hours, the PACE 4 never limits your time covering new ground, coming with a USB-C adaptor to easily charge (USB-C cable not included) and a keyring to hold the adaptor in when on the move.

GPS Features and Navigation System

Including an All-Systems satellite configuration, the PACE 4 ensures accurate tracking at all times, whether you are traversing rural trails or covering ground in built-up cities; signal errors are kept to a minimum so you constantly know where you need to get to next. With the ability to connect to all five global satellites (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS) across two distinct signal frequencies, location accuracy is dramatically improved no matter how challenging the environment becomes. Even when you are not online, the watch has global routes that can be downloaded or created and followed as needed. Utilising Breadcrumbing maps, the PACE 4 offers seamless guidance when navigating confusing paths, alerting you when you stray from your route.

Heart Rate Monitoring

The heart rate technology lets you monitor your heart rate without wearing a chest strap. The heart rate sensor has been redesigned to minimise incorrect data and track your body during intervals or varied training. Now featuring a closer-to-the-skin fit for better reading and larger sensors, the watch effectively follows rises and drops. In addition to counting steps, the watch uses heart rate to assess recovery speed after intense activities and determine how prepared your body is to take on the stressors of the day. The watch has a Pulse Oximeter (SpO₂) to measure the level of oxygen carried through your blood, so you can see how well your body absorbs oxygen when you sleep. This will help you monitor your sleep and the quality of your sleep, so you can get a gauge of how well you sleep.

Watch Face and Durability

Designed to last the test of time, the PACE 4 has been built with COROS's second edition of its new aluminium bezel. This high-integrity frame has a refined silhouette, providing the perfect balance between a sleek yet durable design that keeps the weight low for prime performance. The watch features a 1.2" AlwaysOn AMOLED touchscreen for simple ease of use that provides great visibility through changing lights. The screen on the PACE 4 has a 164% higher resolution than the display of the previous model. Adding further protection, the watch has a water-repellence rating of 5 ATM for resistance up to a depth of 50 metres (165 feet), suitable for surface swimming and triathlons. The watch features two buttons: a digital dial, which allows you to scroll or rotate to make selections or can be pressed to confirm a selection or pause or end an activity. A second button (back/lap button) is used for tracking activities or selecting your "Toolbox" for accessing specific features.

Voice Features and Training Tools

The PACE 4 now includes a built-in mic, allowing you to pin voice notes on trails, recording key aspects of the run to later reflect on. The microphone also allows for you to use voice commands, helping make using the watch easier when on the move over possibly uneven and unpredictable terrain when your focus is needed the most. The PACE 4 allows you to track and improve on an array of sports such as running, cycling, swimming, water sports, fitness and aerobic exercises, skiing and a range of other activities. The product uses the Athlete-First Ecosystem, which works on the COROS app to provide essential insights and tools you need to perform at your best, including Training Status, custom workouts, detailed activity summaries and more. You can also use your watch as a virtual pacer to keep you on track, either by setting a distance and pace goal to be alerted when you fall outside your goal time or by setting a pace goal without an end distance in mind and running against a virtual runner at your chosen pace. The app will also allow you to pre-plan training sessions or routes and create and edit routes which are already saved.

Connectivity

With internal storage built right into your watch, COROS is putting the "beat" in your daily mission to beat yesterday. You can download and play MP3 file music directly from your watch and listen with your Bluetooth headphones or speakers. The watch's ability to save up to 4GB of music keeps you focused on your next activity. With a Bluetooth connection, the watch can be connected to heart rate monitors, power meters, foot pods and other accessories using the standard BLE protocol. The watch can connect to a range of apps, such as Strava, Wikiloc and TrainingPeaks, to name a few, allowing you to pick up where you left off when first purchasing your COROS.
