Every step along the trail is a secure one thanks to a specific, high-grip pattern on the outsole that's based on our own hiking research. You'll be protected all the way along the route with a reinforced toe bumper and breathable Gore-Tex that keeps your feet dry.

Lightweight Upper

When trail running, comfort and performance from your shoe is essential. The breathable upper mesh keeps feet cool by allowing a steady ventilating airflow to pass through. Gore-Tex technology ensures that you will stay dry, with a waterproof membrane surrounding the construction. The foam padded collar and tongue are multi-purpose in providing comfort to a vulnerable part of the foot, as well as keeping debris and other irritants out of it.

Durable Midsole

With rebound and bouncy features, the midsole makes sure that you get the most out of unpredictable surfaces. The sturdy construction can withstand heavy knocks and contacts with rough surfaces, an extremely common occurrence on trails. As well as absorbing shocks, the midsole protects the foot and keeps it healthy by offering support on heavy steps and rolls. Within the midsole, Asics use their Gel Cushioning System. This means that all shocks and absorbed by dissipating vertical impact and dispersing it into a horizontal plane.

AHAR+ Outsole

One of the trail shoes most important attributes is to have supreme grip and traction. This shoe ensures that you will get just that with the AHAR+ outsole. The outer sole material is abrasion resistant, durable and offers fantastic cushioning. Most importantly, it is able to grip on to any type of ground. Using a rubber material found on car tyres, the lightweight and tough outer surface latches onto what is beneath it, making sure you don't have to worry about your performance being compromised.
