adidas Distancestar Running Spikes

No matter the distance, the goal is the same: Be a star. These adidas track spikes hold you in as you push to the front of the pack. They're designed for 400m to 5000m races, with an upper that's flexible and supportive. A layer of Lightstrike Pro under the forefoot keeps the shoes snappy and propulsive.

Air Mesh Upper

Made with an air mesh upper, these shoes are extremely lightweight and breathable. The air mesh material allows air to circulate freely between your feet, keeping them cool and you focused on the run ahead. A seamless toe cap feature gives the spikes durability and helps to prevent injuries such as bruising in the toe area. The synthetic heel also holds your foot firmly in place whilst running. Finished off with eye-catching colours and an adidas logo on the heel, you'll show the competition you're the real deal.

Lightstrike Cushioning

The midsole of the adidas Distancestar Running Spikes has been constructed using Lightstrike cushioning that delivers the optimal balance of lightweight and responsive cushioning. Designed to provide responsive cushioning without the weight, the midsole combines energy return and stability into one of the lightest TPU foams on the market. Lightstrike spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces whilst also propelling you forward to provide you with explosive movement and enduring speed. The light and springy ride supports your feet through the gait cycle whilst remaining as lightweight as possible to ensure you can reach new PBs.

TPU Outsole Plate

The outsole, made with TPU, is extremely durable and ideal for any condition, making these shoes perfect for wet or dry weather. Featuring five spikes on the forefoot, these shoes allow you to fully dig into the track surface to propel you forward toward the finishing line. The rubber that features on the outsole helps to reduce wear and tear on the heel and toe-off areas. It also offers excellent traction and flexibility allowing you to gain maximum speed around corners while ensuring your stability.
