Suede Leather Upper

Using a construction of water-resistant suede leather upper, and high tenacity nylon, the Asolo Arctic GV Walking Boots offers you a great deal of protection, helping you to get the maximum from your footwear. This upper keeps your feet protected from debris and sharp object, as well as, minimises the risk of wear and tear. Alongside this, the shoes have a Gore-Tex Insulated Comfort Footwear lining, which guarantees insulation for optimum warmth and waterproof protection to keep your feet dry at all times. This breathable upper ensures that your feet stay comfortable even during constantly changing weather conditions. Completing the upper is a webbing lacing system that provides you with a quick and precise lace-up, ensuring the foot stays locked in and secure.

EVA Midsole

Designed using an EVA midsole, the walking shoes aim to provide you with enough cushioning and comfort to get you through the day. The EVA midsole provides comfort and protection when on uneven terrain, it resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, the midsole spares your joints as you strike down on hard and unforgiving surfaces. The EVA is exceptionally lightweight and ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. The energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step.

Vibram Ghiaccio Outsole

Designed to provide traction and grip on uneven surfaces, the Asolo Arcitcs has been constructed using design technologies from both Asolo and Vibram. A Vibram Ghiaccio membrane on the outsole has wide lugs offering great traction and provides the shoes with a great level of durability. This rubber outsole has a self-cleaning design and uses an Arctic Grip compound offering you an extreme level of grip when on cold, icy or snowy surfaces. Making them a perfect pair of shoes to wear during winter walks or trips to colder climate countries.

Providing you security for your next adventures alone, the shoes are integrated with RECCO Rescue System Technology, which makes you searchable to professional rescuers in the event of an avalanche accident or when you're lost outdoors. When you're wearing these shoes, the RECCO reflectors in these shoes enables professional rescuers to locate you with RECCO detectors. It is a two-part system that sends out a directional radar signal like the beam of a flashlight. Once the radar beam hits the RECCO reflector the signal is echoed back and directs the rescuer to your location.
