Hoka Zinal Women's Trail Running Shoes

Recycled Yarn Mesh Upper

These running shoes have been constructed with a recycled yarn mesh upper for ultralight, breathable wear. Micro perforations in the mesh allow vapour, heat and moisture to escape to the outer of the shoe where it can then dissipate quickly, whilst simultaneously encouraging fresh air to enter the shoe and permeate. This helps feet to breathe and stay dry for a pleasant, cool-wearing experience. Its lightweight nature helps you to run even faster without bulk and weight holding you back, and its recycled composition makes the Hoka Zinal Trail Running Shoe a sustainable option. A gusseted tongue helps to keep dirt and debris out of the shoe for improved comfort and safety on the run and a protective layer on the front of the toes protects feet from sharp rocks and debris out on the trail. A traditional lacing system anchors the foot into the shoe for advanced security, stability and control, so you can take on whatever the trail throws at you.

PROFLY Midsole

The PROFLY midsole is comprised of ultralight foam on top and EVA on the bottom. PROFLY Foam works to provide a soft, propulsive experience by protecting you during a heel strike and propelling you forward for a firm toe-off. Responsive EVA on the bottom works by attenuating shock and cushioning the foot during strike. This helps to protect the foot from stress and strain, reducing the risk of injury, whilst also providing springy rebounds to propel you forward, utilising the power from your last step to power you into your next one. Atop this, moulded EVA sockliners ensure extra comfort, cushioning and responsiveness. An early-stage Meta-Rocker is designed with a low heel-toe differential to create a unique fulcrum effect, like a rocking chair to encourage a guided gait cycle. This design supports a runner's natural form while promoting an efficient, smooth roll from initial impact to toe-off.

Vibram Megagrip Outsole

The Zinal is finished with a Vibram Megagrip with Litebase construction outsole for ultimate gripping action. This durable outsole is covered in deep grooves and 4mm lugs for multi-directional grip on wet, dry, smooth and rough surfaces. This outsole gives reliable traction for fast, responsive movement, from toe-off to turns, and allows you to navigate challenging terrain with confidence. All of this grip and traction power is wrapped up in a lightweight, slim package, with it being up to 30% lighter than other Vibram outsoles and up to 50% thinner - for excellent speed and proprioception, all without reducing performance.
