Kookaburra Neon Junior Hockey Shoes

Control the play with the Kookaburra Neon Junior Hockey Shoes. With protection guarding against unexpected play, and performance assistance, push on past opponents with confidence and style.

Lightweight Upper

With lightweight properties, the shoe will feel light on the foot, encouraging you to make short sharp and explosive bursts. The breathable material allows a steady airflow in and out of the shoe, keeping the feet feeling fresh and ventilated. A firm and solid exterior will protect the feet from inevitable collisions with balls and sticks. Special protection is provided to the toe with thicker material to absorb impacts. Securing to the feet is quick and easy with up the foot laces, whilst the padded tongue provides further comfort.

EVA Midsole

A thick EVA midsole offers supreme cushioning and comfort under the foot. This means that sudden sharp impacts on the ground will be absorbed quickly, efficiently and effectively. The thickness is greater covering the heel and forefoot, where the impacts are most likely to cause damage. Underneath the foot, the insole increases cushioning and comfort. The low profile of the shoe adds stability and control.

]
Durable Outsole

Designed to last, the durable rubber outsole will not be worn down easily. The rubber is anti-abrasion, standing up for itself under pressure and with heavy contacts. Thick lugs are able to anchor the shoe in position for traction. The means that stability and control will be increased, as the lugs will be able to assist with sudden sprints, braking and sharp changes of direction.

About Kookaburra

Kookaburra, named after the company founder AG Thompson's pet Kookaburra 'Jacky', a member of the Australian Kingfisher family, is an Australian sports equipment company, specialising in cricket and field hockey equipment (including balls). The company notably manufactures the most widely used brand of ball used in Test Cricket, limited over cricket, and international hockey tournaments.

Kookaburra Sport was established in 1890, is a 100% Australian family owned and operated global business, trading under the brand name Kookaburra in both cricket and hockey internationally, with offices in Australia (Head Office), India, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Kookaburra predominantly sells its products via existing retailers, as well as cricket and hockey balls to Leagues and Associations in over 50 countries worldwide.

For the first 100 years, Kookaburra Sport traded as AG Thompson Pty Ltd, and a number of the Thompson family members are still actively involved in the daily running of the business. Kookaburra Sport employs over 150 employees worldwide as the business continues to grow successfully.

The Kookaburra name is synonymous with Australian sport and has established itself as the No. 1 Australian sports brand worldwide. Its association with sport originates from cricket, and by World War 1 the brand was entrenched as one of the leading Australian hand-made cricket ball manufacturers. Today Kookaburra is the official red ball supplier to the main test-playing nations other than India and England, and produces over 500,000 cricket balls per year. It is also the only remaining cricket ball manufacturer to oversee their entire production process in Australia.
