The Lorpen Midweight Hiker Women's Outdoor Socks are engineered with T3 technology. This is a blend of fabrics that offer comfort, warmth, cushioning and moisture-management.
Merino wool is a finely crimped and soft wool with staples (fibre lengths) that are commonly 65 – 100 mm (2.5 – 4 inches) long and less than 24 microns in diameter. The core of a merino fibre is hydrophilic (water retaining), and is breathable. The fine micron diameter ensures it feels soft and comfortable next to the skin. Merino has the ability to help keep the foot warm in winter and cool in summer.
PrimaLoft® Eco polyester yarn features a blend of 30% PrimaLoft® fibres and 70% PCR materials, providing an environmentally sustainable alternative to yarns made solely from virgin fibre. Used as the next to skin layer in our merino based Lorpen Tri-Layer socks, PrimaLoft® Eco is warm, soft, non-absorbing and very effective at moisture transport.
The socks also feature a layer of cushioning, which provides a high level of comfort on your trek.

No, there's no need to contact us before returning your parcel.
Yes, you will need to pay the return postage costs. We also advise that you make sure you have sufficient postal insurance, just in case your parcel goes missing on the way back to us.

No, we'll cover this cost - we won't charge you any additional postage for sending an exchange. We'll send your exchange using standard delivery.
We aim to despatch your replacements within 24 hours of receiving your return, then our usual delivery times apply.
We'll try our best to process your refund within 24 hours of receiving your return but please allow 7 days for busy periods. Don't forget that once we've processed your refund, it can take up to 72 hours to show up in your account.
