Mizuno Wave Emperor 3 Women's Running Shoes

Introducing Mizuno's fastest shoe, a true Japanese racing flat - engineered for athletes who want new PB's. This new shoe gives you an enhanced snug racing fit, thanks to the combination of the adjustable mid foot strap and asymmetric lacing.

DynamotionFit Upper

DynamotionFit uppers will encase each foot in breathable comfort. AIRmesh is used to increase airflow, its perforations creating a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. DynamotionFit is all about creating a shoe that works with your foot through the design and materials used to create it. The Stretch Mesh eliminates the bunching and pulling that can cause discomfort and even blisters, especially at toe-off. Together, the features of DynamotionFit create a shoe that gets out of your way, so you can become the best runner you can be. An adjustable midfoot lacing strap works to promote lockdown; it unites with the asymmetrical lacing system to anchor you to the midsole and reduce in-shoe slippage so that you can enjoy smooth, distraction-free speed.

U4ic/Ap+ Midsole

A combination of U4ic and Ap+ midsole foams reside underfoot to create the ultimate in lightweight cushioning and responsiveness. U4ic is an engineered polymer that is light, responsive and cushioned, and it delivers you these properties, kilometre after kilometre, day after day. Ap+ provides increased rebound and durability. Inspired by nature, Wave is a unique midsole technology that provides both cushioning and stability. Wave's unique shape dissipates impact forces away from the foot for a smoother, more cushioned feel on every step.

X10 Outsole

Designed for the fast, the G3 outsole gives a direct and responsive racing experience at the forefoot, supplying lightweight longevity and grip. Durability and traction arrive in the form of X10 rubber, covering the heel. The extremely substantial carbon rubber allows for longer wear in high impact areas and provides more traction at heel-strike so you can run hard, knowing that your shoes can handle the heat. Mizuno integrate their Smoothride technology to minimise the rapid acceleration and deceleration of the foot during transition, creating the smoothest ride possible. Smoothride begins working the moment your foot touches the ground; flex grooves adorn the outsole to promote natural movement from the heel to the forefoot, initiating that rocking-chair motion for fluid, uninhibited strides.

About Mizuno
