Mizuno Wave Drive Z Table Tennis Shoes

Stay comfortable and supported in the Mizuno Wave Drive Z Table Tennis Shoes. A DynamotionFit upper encourages naturally support movement, making you more agile around the table. Wave technology offers cushioning with a non-marking outsole for optimal grip and traction.

DynamotionFit Upper

Providing you with supported movement, the shoe uses DynamotionFit, a technology developed by Mizuno that allows the shoe to work with your feet. As you make sudden sharp movements, the shoe will identify this, allowing you to make the sudden and sharp changes of pace to help you cover more ground. Air can flow in and out of the shoe for supreme breathability to keep you feeling fresh mid-game. Synthetic overlays are situated throughout the upper for a durable, abrasion-resistant and supportive feel. The overlays guard against friction and irritation such as chafing. A padded tongue and heel further enhance the comfort while a traditional lacing system offers a secure, locked-in feel. Rounding off the upper is an anatomically moulded removable cup insole which maximises comfort and support, especially for table tennis movements.

Wave Plate Midsole

A Mizuno Wave Plate resides in the midsole of the shoe to ensure optimum cushioning and stability for sharp, aggressive movements. The use of AP+ rubber further assists the midsole by adding durability where needed. Having the exceptional cushioning and comfort offers a more responsive feel, improving the overall performance.

Non-Marking Rubber Outsole

The non-marking rubber outsole is ideal for indoor surfaces as it does not damage or scuff. Optimal grip and traction is also provided by the outsole, ensuring a firm, assured footing. The rubber is also abrasion resistant, which will improve the functionality and longevity of the outsole.

About Mizuno

Mizuno was founded in 1906 as Mizuno Brothers Ltd by Rihachi Mizuno and his younger brother Rizo, in Osaka. The shop sold western sundries, including baseballs, and then in 1907 began to sell order-made athletic wear. In 1910 the shop moved to Umeda Shinmichi and its name was changed to Mizuno Shop. In 1913 the firm began to manufacture baseballs and gloves. In 1933 Mizuno presented Star Line, the first Japanese made golf clubs. By 1935 its golf club showroom was the world's largest.

In 1941 the company name was changed to Mizuno Co., Ltd, and has remained the same since. The first American factory was established in Los Angeles, under the denomination American Mizuno in 1961.

Today, Mizuno is a global corporation which makes a wide variety of sports equipment and sportswear, for golf, tennis, baseball, volleyball, football, running, rugby, skiing, cycling, judo, table tennis, badminton, boxing and athletics.
