Mizuno Wave Momentum Women's Indoor Court Shoes

An innovative hybrid shoes delivering ultimate comfort, and secure support for when the game gets intense.

Breathable AirMesh Upper

Constructed using an AIRmesh upper, the Wave Momentum provides the utmost in breathability and comfort. Ensuring a constant airflow, the newly designed upper keeps you cooler and drier for longer. In addition to this, the upper also offers an expertly engineered no-sew upper which is constructed to provide high levels of comfort and a perfect fit. With a no-sew upper now you don't have to worry about chafing or skin irritation and the upper runs smoothly against the skin. A dura shield toe structure is lined with TUP parts to ensure durability and protection whilst on the court. A Dynamotion Fit bootie construction offers an extra-snug fit in the mid-foot area. Using the latest motion capture and biomechanics technology, Mizuno's blueprint was designed to engineer shoes that work with the foot's gait cycle.

Mizuno Wave Midsole

Mizuno's wave technology is embedded into the midsole to provide flexibility in one direction and support in the other. The midsole technology works to absorb the shock of heel striking without compromising the comfort or cushioning. Once the shock has been absorbed the energy from that is harnessed and is then transferred to the forefoot to then push you off and guide you onto the next movement. The wave prevents partial deformation and provides dynamic support to stabilise and guide the foot forward. Furthermore, the midsole harnesses Mizuno's innovative AP+ midsole compound. AP+ guarantees an amazing ride providing cushioning and comfort levels that just go on feeling new due to a huge improvement in durability whilst U4icX absorbs impact for the smoothest ride possible, the revolutionary midsole ensures cushioned ride with a higher rebound. Lastly, a removable insock ensures added underfoot cushioning and comfort.

XG Rubber Outsole

The midsole and outsole technologies work together with SmoothRide technology to provide a fluid, rocking-chair-like transition. As the foot hits the ground, SmoothRide Engineering kicks in with heel flex grooves promoting a natural back-to-front movement. A high-performance component named the XG Rubber is used on the outsole to enhance traction where the sole needs it the most.
