Mizuno Lightning Star Z5 Junior Indoor Court Shoes

Always stay one step ahead with Mizuno fastest shoe for the younger athlete. Lightning Star Jr is not only light but highly comfortable thanks to the midsole featuring visible cushioning holes. An outrigger sole for extra stability for lateral dynamic movement.

Mesh and Synthetic Upper

Constructed with a mesh and synthetic upper, the Lightning Star Z5 delivers breathable durability. Combining a mesh fabric with synthetic overlays the upper boasts a no-sew application for an irritation-free fit and the optimal hold with a modern, sleek look. Mesh fabric encourages cool air circulation to remove uncomfortable heat build-up and to create a healthy, regulated temperature that feet can thrive in. Synthetic overlays increase the durability of the shoe and protect against lateral drags and abrasions. Working in tandem with the traditional lace closure, the synthetic overlays lock down the midfoot for increased stability and support.

U4ic X Midsole

Visible cushioning holes in the midsole keep the shoes ultra lightweight for fast, dynamic movement, whilst providing high levels of cushioning for shock attenuation and maximum comfort. Absorbing shock impact at heel strike the Lightning Star Z5 spares joints from injury when striking down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. U4ic X lightweight compound resides in the midsole to deliver a stress-free cushioned ride with high rebound for an energised spring in every step and maximum comfort.

Non-Marking Outsole

A non-marking rubber outsole ensures strong on-court grip and traction for agile and quick manoeuvres that don't leave their mark on the court. An outrigger outsole provides more ground contact for increased stability during lateral slides.

About Mizuno
