Plus, the Toe Protect rubber compound wraps the toes to reinforce the shoe's trail-worthy state, increasing its durability and defending feet against roots, rocks and other general hazards. Fresh Foam X Midsole

The newest version of Fresh Foam is a more energetic rebound than its predecessor. The full-length Fresh Foam keeps the cushioning consistent and improves the transition in the gait cycle. The Fresh Foam X Hierro V7s are still fitted with the New Balance signature plush, but firm and responsive cushioning.
