Designed to provide lightweight protection, the Ronhill Core Jacket is perfect for cold winter runs. Constructed to provide a perfect balance of wind resistance and breathability, the Core has been developed using Activelite fabric. The wind-resistant fabric works to block out cold wind so you can remain comfortable and warm when temperatures drop. As well as this, a DWR treatment has also been used on the jacket to provide added resistance to harsh weather conditions. The jacket repels light rain and snow so you can remain comfortable and dry when the weather takes a turn for the worst. As well as this, the breathable nature of the fabric allows cool air to flow throughout the jacket whilst, at the same time allowing hot, humid air to escape. The increases in ventilation creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in so you can continue in complete comfort. The relaxed fit offers room for layering and won't restrict your natural motion because your clothing choice should never inhibit your natural movement. The full zip exists for adjustable comfort, simply zip the jacket up to seal in escaping heat or, when temperatures rise it can be worn down to release a heat build-up. About Ronhill

On the 9th September 1970 Ron Hill set up Ron Hill Sports. Ron Hill was the first ever person from Britain to win the Boston Marathon, in 2hrs 10mins 30secs. He also struck gold at the Commonwealth Games recording a time of 2hrs 9mins 28secs. Ron's unique combination of first hand running knowledge and a career as a textile chemist put him in a prime position to combine his passions and create a running brand. Ron was the first person to use synthetic fabrics in sportswear and invented a lot of the fabrics that today's latest products are based upon. Ron continues to inspire runners even into retirement. Ron has completed over 155,000 miles since he started his training log in 1956. Though even the greatest streak, must eventually end, as Ronhill has announced on the 29th January 2017, after 52 years and 39 days, he's finally going to have a day off.
