The GORE-TEX membrane is bonded to the outer shell material and covered by a protective layer making this garment extremely lightweight and packable, as well as completely waterproof and windproof. Breathability is not compromised for protection as the GORE-TEX membrane allows excess water vapour to escape through the membrane without letting water molecules in ensuring you are kept cool and comfortable, as well as dry.  A grown on adjustable hood with a wired peak provides adjustable coverage and added weather protection whilst an adjustable cuff and hem helps to ensure an optimum fit. A front zip exists for complete temperature control, in colder climates, it can be worn up to seal in heat or when temperatures begin to rise it can be worn down to release an intolerable heat build up. Completing the Hergen Jacket are two zipped hand pockets which provide ample storage for all your essential items.</p>
