Sprayway Rador Down Jacket

Tackle the elements with the Sprayway Rador Down Jacket. With extremely lightweight fabrics, the jacket is still able to keep you warm with supreme insulation and durable waterproofing.

The jacket will ensure that you will stay warm when exposed to high winds and bad weather. This is largely down to the TecSHELL technology. The densely woven construction means that the jackets are highly wind-resistant, deflecting all cold air that is blasted towards it and preventing it from coming into contact with the skin. In addition to this the TecSHELL fabrics have a DWR coating, which increases the water resistance of the jacket, as it wicks moisture away. The material is also quick-drying, which means the jacket will remain lightweight and comfortable. The material is also extremely light, packable and highly durable, ensuring that it won't let you down in volatile and changeable weather conditions. Within the centre of the jacket, the jacket uses InsoFill insulation, another technology developed by Sprayway. This has an especially high loft and level of heat retention, which will keep your body warm in cold conditions. The fibres used for insulating ensure that heat is retained even as they become damp from snow or rain, making it perfect to take on any conditions. The seams within the jacket are flat-lying, which means that there won't be any irritation caused by rubbing or chafing. A drawcord adjustable hem makes adjusting the jacket to the waist quick and easy to do, which will work to block out windchill from entering the bottom of the jacket. Elastane bound cuffs allow a greater range of movement for the wrists and arms. The hood also has an elastane bound, which makes putting it over the head quick and easy to do. Two zipped pockets on the front provide an easily accessible place to keep your hands warm or to store small items. Inside the jacket, there is another zipped security pocket, ideal for storing valuables safely in.

About SPRAYWAY

Founded in 1974 by two outdoor enthusiasts in Manchester, England the brand quickly became one of Britain's leading outdoor clothing companies. Sprayway has been keeping the British public warm, dry and comfortable in all conditions ever since. From humble beginnings out of a garage in Chorlton, Manchester; to kitting out arctic explorers and National Park rangers. Sprayway has been keeping the British public warm, dry and comfortable since 1974.

John Hunt and Simon Wright initially began making sailing clothing as a natural extension of their passion for competitive dinghy sailing. They were also keen mountaineers and recognised a lack of solid, durable and waterproof climbing clothing at the time. Driven on by the famous Manchester climate surrounding them, the two began manufacturing coated waterproof jackets. By 1982 the brand had launched its first GORE-TEX jacket, the Snipe and in 1983 became the first company to machine tape non-GORE-TEX waterproof clothing, named the Hydro-dry range. Hydro-dry remains an integral technology to this day.

Now in its 40th year, the SPRAYWAY brand continues to use innovative fabrics across a wide range of products and continues to produce garments which utilise cutting edge technology whilst remaining true to their Mancunian roots.
