2XU Light Speed Compression Shorts

The 2XU MCS Run Compression Shorts have been developed with a detailed understanding of the impact running has on the legs. Providing anatomically mapped muscle support for greater performance and recovery.

The MCS Run Shorts offer excellent compression throughout providing multiple benefits to your performances. The compression of the shorts offers reduced muscle fatigue and soreness allowing you to recover much faster and perform for much longer. Secondly, the compression reduces muscle damage and risk of overuse injuries allowing you to train more times without elevating the risk of overuse injuries. Other little benefits are improved muscle alignment and increased agility which in turn all combine together to increase performances.

The garment features MCS mapping targeted to the quads to help reduce strain and soreness to the muscles surrounding that area. The thigh/Quadricep mapping reduces impact forces and dissipates the load transfer on the knee joint to prevent injury caused by the vibration of running. The mapping keeps the quad muscles aligned perfectly for enhancing the energy created through those muscles giving you an advantage while performing. Furthermore, the compression support to the upper leg features PWX flex 70D to the front panels and PWX weight 105D to the back panels for increased durability without compromising on weight.

In addition, the shorts offer a multi-directional stretch which allows superb range of motion without you encountering any restrictions, while being ultra breathable. The fabric allows air to fully permeate the entire construction, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air. The moisture wicking yarns of the shorts work endlessly to wick sweat and excess moisture as it's produced. Once wicked the fabric transfers the moisture to the outer layers where it can be easily evaporated, ensuring you stay cool, dry and comfortable. The shorts are antimicrobial meaning that they prevent the growth of odour causing microbes, keeping your gear smelling fresher for longer.

Lastly, other features include UPF50+ that protects your skin from the suns harmful rays, a rear zip pocket that provides excellent secure storage space for small essential and valuable items you wish to take out with you. Flatlock seams dramatically reduce the chances of chafing and skin irritation, ensuring you stay comfortable and focused on your training regime.
