SpeedForm Constructed Upper
An innovative SpeedForm construction has been chosen to construct the AMP 2.0. This allows the upper to mould to the foot to offer a precise fit and helps to eliminate the distraction and discomfort which can commonly be caused a loose running shoe. A lightweight woven fabric is used in the construction as it is super breathable and flexible. The breathable qualities mean that cool air is allowed to flow in through the fabric at the same time as warm air is being released, creating a cool and fresh environment for the foot. The flexibility of the fabric allows the upper to snugly wrap the foot without causing the wearer to feel as though their movements are being restricted. Abrasion-resistant overlays have been strategically placed along the upper. These panels will offer additional support and protection where the foot will benefit from it the most. The sock-like 'Burrito Tongue' construction is combined with a multi-lace saddle. This offers a snug fit and supports the foot while providing a locked-down fit. Placed at the back of the shoe is an external TPU heel counter. This will offer additional support to the foot as it holds the heel securely in place and reduces the risk of slippage and even possible discomfort and injury occurring. A SpeedForm sockliner sits on the footbed of the shoe with is made from a plush, moisture-wicking material. The plush qualities of the footbed offer additional cushioning, ideal for enhancing the shoes fit and comfort levels. The moisture-wicking properties mean that excess sweat and moisture can be drawn away from the skin and moved to outer fabric layers where it can be easily evaporated, leaving the wearer feeling cool and fresh for longer.
Floating-Space Midsole
The open space which separated the upper and midsole areas of the shoe allows the arch of the foot to move freely, enhances comfort and allows the wearer to benefit from a natural foot movement. The midsole is made from a superbly lightweight EVA foam. This offers much needed cushioning under the foot and provides a responsive foot ride. Placed to offer stability is an internal Shank. This will help to keep the foot supportive throughout even those more explosive movements.
Durable Rubber Outsole
A durable rubber compound outsole provides optimal traction and keeps the shoe and foot protected with its hard wearing qualities. The cut flex grooves offer ultimate flex and superior traction to keep the wearer stable on their feet and allow the shoe to move naturally with the foot.
