The Zamberlan 311 Ultra Lite GORE-TEX Walking Boots have used the best Hydrobloc full grain leather to ensure durability and protection. This special leather has been treated in the tanning process to increase its water resistance and durability; it also helps the leather to dry out more quickly. In order to keep the Hydrobloc treatment working throughout the life of the boot, they must be treated with Hydrobloc cream as part of the care routine.

As well as the hydrobloc leather, Zamberlan have taken a "belt and braces" approach to keeping you dry by using a full GORE-TEX lining to guarantee that your feet stay dry. Shoes engineered with GORE-TEX Performance Comfort product technology are designed for outdoor use in moderate weather conditions. They combine durable waterproofness and optimised breathability, offering enduring waterproof protection and optimised climate comfort. Water stays on the outside while perspiration can easily escape from the inside. Thanks to their innovative construction they are an ideal solution for the widest range of outdoor activities and changing weather conditions. Lastly, for ultimate comfort, the fully padded and slightly lower ankle cuff offers the right amount of support without feeling tight or restrictive making the Ultra Lite GORE-TEX perfect for general country and hill walking, while the rubber rand and toe bumper helps protect the boots from scuffs and knocks on the trail.

EVA Foam Midsole

Fitted in the midsole is a lightweight EVA foam to ensure impact absorption and a cushioned ride.

A reliable Vibram Star Lite unit provides plenty of grip and stability with wide spaced lugs for quick self-cleaning and a defined heel brace for increased traction when descending. Renowned for their durability and grip on varied terrain.

For more than 40 years, Zamberlan has been distributing to worldwide markets and today more than 90% of its production is destined for export to 50 countries around the globe. The company was first founded by Giuseppe Zamberlan just after the World War One, from his deep passion and purpose towards his local mountain range, The Piccole Dolomiti, often known as the Small Dolomites. Giuseppe understood that the poor performance of the existing outsoles, made from leather and iron studs, was limiting mountaineers ability. Therefore, Giuseppe strove to support and develop the ideas of Vitale Bramani, the founder of Vibram Rubber. From this partnership, Zamberlan became the first ever brand to use an all over Vibram outsole, and it has been growing ever since. Today, it is the turn of the third generation of Zamberlan family to manage the Italian footwear company. Brother and sister Marco and Maria Zamberlan both have inherited the same love of the mountainside, and strive to enhance the range of outdoor products on offer. Impressively the company continues to handcraft it's traditional models in Italy, in the same factory opened up by Giuseppe nearly 90 years earlier. As a result, the company is recognised worldwide for it's comfort, fit and striking Italian design.
