Footwear Lacing Guide

To fine tune your fit, different lacing systems can also help. This will help to avoid injury and enhance your performance. We've given you examples of different lacing systems below.

Ways to lace your shoes

Tight pressure around the tongue?

Use this system to remove pressure caused by tight lacing across the trainer's tongue.

Do you have toe problems?

Zigzag he lacing of the shoe to help take the pressure away from sore toes and aid them to heal, whilst not giving up your training.

Do you have painful feet?

Use this lacing guide to ease the pressure on your foot if it is painful or the trainer is tight.

Do you have narrow feet causing slippage?

Use this system to remove pressure caused by tight lacing across the trainer's tongue.

Try looping the laces on your shoe in this way to help hold the heel more firmly in place, which will help to reduce the risk of injury and blisters.

Do you have wide feet around the top?

Try using the closer set of eyelets as this will provide width within the trainer and can stop your boot from being squashed and painful.
