adidas Adizero Boston 10 Running Shoes

The adizero Boston 10 is a versatile running shoe created to maximize your everyday training long runs. Building on the adizero heritage and design evolution, adizero Boston 10 offers runners cutting-edge technologies, featuring the LIGHTSTRIKE PRO combined with a durable LIGHTSTRIKE EVA midsole foam, ENERGYRODS and CONTINENTAL™ RUBBER OUTSOLE to support every day long distance training runs with a durable lightweight ride.

Engineered Mesh Upper

Constructed using an engineered mesh, the upper of the adidas Adizero Boston 10 Running Shoe provides an abundance of flexibility, breathability and support. Designed using research based on Aramis insights, the mesh has been specifically engineered to provide more support in places its needed the most and less support in areas where free movement is important. Not only do the perforations determine levels of support, they also work to increase ventilation so you can remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. The mesh allows cool air to circulate inside the shoe whilst, at the same time allowing hot muggy air to escape; creating a perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in. Microfit technology has also been used on the upper to ensure increased structure and support. It works to lock down your feet and midfoot for a secure, comfortable and fast run. A textile lining has also been used on the upper to increase comfort, the lining sits comfortably against the skin and reduces the risks of chafing and irritation from ruining your run. Completing the upper is a lace closure system which secures the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

Lightstrike EVA Midsole

adidas' signature Lightstrike EVA technology has been embedded into the Adizero Boston 10. The lightstrike foam compound provides endless energy return from heel strike through to the toe-off phase of the gait cycle. It features hundreds of visible energy capsules that store and unleash endless energy every time your foot hits the ground, meaning that every step is charged. When your heel hits the floor, the midsole compresses and stores kinetic energy; as you transition through to mid-stance, the midsole relaxs and releases the stored energy, which propels you forward with an explosive take off. As well as this, midsole also feature lightstrike cushioning which spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces whilst also propelling you forward to provide you with explosive movement and enduring speed. The light and springy ride supports your feet through the gait cycle whilst remaining as lightweight as possible to ensure you can reach new PB's. Completing the midsole is a carbon plate which works to provide a smooth transition during the gait cycle. The plate works with ENERGYRODS technology which supports your foot as you run and propels you forward to give you an extra spring in your step.

Continental Rubber Outsole

Developed using a continental rubber outsole, the adidas Adizero Boston 10 Running Shoes ensure extraordinary traction in wet and dry conditions. Inspired by tyre technology, Continental rubber supplies traction on wet and dry surfaces, giving you no excuse not to run. The outsole is designed to be just as durable as the Boost midsole, leaving you with a resilient, cushioned and grippy running shoe. Stretchweb completes the Adizero Boston 10 by ensuring a flexible and energised ride. The web pattern has a large surface area that flexes naturally for increased ground feel and traction on varied terrain. The stretchweb outsole lowers the amount of pressure that is generated during the footstrike and in turn, lessens the impact on your feet to minimise injury and provide increased performance.
