Breathable Mesh Upper
The upper of the Sky Elite FF 3 is made from a breathable energy-returning mesh. As you begin to exercise, warm air that builds up within the shoe can escape out efficiently and effectively. This process works constantly to keep you feeling ventilated and at a comfortable temperature. Moisture is also able to escape the material, so as you begin to sweat, this will be removed for comfort. Thicker material covers the forefoot and heel, providing strength and protection to the feet. An Energy Lock system keeps your foot locked in from take-off to landing, so you're able to push further. The heel is further secured with a counter, which absorbs heavy forces put on the heel. A traditional lacing system allows you to find a secure and comfortable fit every time. A soft and padded tongue guarantees comfort throughout matches and a curved heel shape allows you to cut in more smoothly and set yourself up for a more powerful jump on the court.
FlyteFoam Blast Plus Eco Midsole
Using one of ASICS' lightest and most energetic foam compounds, the Sky Elite utilises an FF Blast Plus Eco midsole. Complemented with cloud-like softness, the midsole has outstanding softness to contribute to cushioned strides and a comfortable match experience. This eco-conscious midsole provides your feet with a soft landing and an excellent level of return, ensuring energetic movements. Its reinforced, organic fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run, so you can train harder, more frequently, for longer without worrying that your shoes might not be able to take it. Working alongside the midsole is the RISETRUSS technology unit, which enables a powerful lift-off, helping players transition horizontal power to vertical power without energy loss.
Durable Rubber Outsole
The outsole features a durable rubber, which will prevent damage and wear caused by rubbing against the court. This means that the shape and definition of the outsole will be retained over a long period. The rubber is also able to form a solid connection to the court, providing you with supreme control, traction and grip. The separated outsole design helps provide more stable landings. Additionally, the outsole has wider multi-directional flex grooves, which further anchor the feet to the ground and aid natural movement.
ASICS have made the shoe's upper with recycled plastic and used 20% recycled material and sugar cane for the cushioning. They've also used less water and reduced their carbon emissions, while producing the shoe's sockliner and the insole, eyelet, tongue and collar lining are all made from recycled materials.
