Lighter than the Zoom Fly 5, this upper is ultra-lightweight and has a minimalist tongue to shave weight for maximal speed. Synthetic leather on the upper adds durability in key areas, and a traditional lacing system allows you to lock in the fit for confident, controlled strides. Reflective details ensure visibility in low light, keeping you going beyond dusk till dawn.
ZoomX Foam Midsole
The midsole of the Zoom Fly is crafted from ultra-responsive ZoomX foam. Ultra-light and super-responsive, the midsole delivers Nike's greatest energy return yet, absorbing impact and then expelling it back out for a bounce-like effect. This energy-return technology reduces the use of superfluous muscle power, diminishing fatigue and enhancing performance, keeping you running for longer. The ZoomX foam is manufactured from Pebax, a product conventionally used in plastic bridges and other moulded parts, and yields cushioning that is not only lightweight but soft and springy. Reinforcing this bouncy, energetic feel is a full-length carbon fibre plate that provides snappy energy return for greater efficiency, giving you that flying feeling. The midsole also features a rockered construction, utilising the power of your last step to push you into your next one so you run further, faster with less effort.
Thin Durable Rubber Outsole
