What if you could enhance your pre-game routine with a mind-altering shoe? Meet the Nike Mind. Its large outsole nodes push against your foot as you step, engaging sensory areas of the brain to help you stay present and connect with your surroundings. Because when it's anyone's game, winning is all in the mind.
The Nike Mind 001 Pregame Mules have been developed by analysing athletes from the neck up. Using a highly breathable, knit upper to keep you fresh and ready for action. Perforations in the materials maximise airflow, with cool air circulating steadily around the foot. The material is also ultra-soft against the foot to help prevent irritation and avoid distraction. Injected EVA foam has been utilised within the midsole to provide robust cushioning underfoot, keeping you comfortable and psyched. Sitting atop the midsole is a stretchy fabric footbed to optimise the unique sensory feel from the outsole nodes below. With 22 large individually articulated nodes, evenly distributed along the bottom of the Mind 001. Nike's Mind Science Department cleverly developed the nodes to move up and down against the base of the foot, which has been scientifically shown to activate sensory areas of the brain. Also featured on the outsole are rubber pods to ensure durable traction while on the move. Engaging your senses with Nike Mind can help you get out of your head, connect with your surroundings, and stay more present in the moment.
