ULTRAWEAVE Upper
Utilising their ULTRAWEAVE technology, Puma have offered a lightweight and breezy experience when you slip into the Deviate NITRO Elite 4s. The ultra-light engineered fabric structure includes 4-way stretch, reducing weight and friction for distraction-free performance. The material features perforations throughout it for better breathability, allowing for airflow to be maximised around the foot and ensuring freshness from start to finish. A padded tongue and collar have been added for better in-shoe comfort, while adding a protective layer close to the skin, helping you stay stable and ready for a wide range of movements. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system to effectively lock down the midfoot for complete control while on the move.
NITROFOAM Midsole
Keeping you feeling light and bouncy, the NITROFOAM Midsole within the Deviate Nitro Elite 4 gets you ready for the competition. Plush, lightweight cushioning underfoot protects your joints and feet from possible injury caused by striking unforgiving surfaces. Shock is effectively absorbed into the foam before being released in the following strides, giving you that needed motivational boost to continue. A PWRPLATE has been added within the foam, amplifying energy return with a snappy feel, whilst also adding extra stability to keep you confident in your movements. The plate is carbon fibre for super springy, long-lasting support. Atop the midsole is a textile sockliner, providing added cushioning for complete comfort, while holding moisture-wicking properties, helping keep you dry and focused on the task ahead.
PUMAGRIP Outsole
Providing excellent grip, the PUMAGRIP rubber is specifically designed for HYROX and helps you maintain confidence in your footing. This rubber outsole compound is durable and made to last long periods over a variety of surfaces. With strategically placed grips along the outsole in key-impact areas, such as the forefoot and heel, for strong toe-offs and confident corners. The full coverage outsole provides crucial grip for multi-surface control and durability across various race conditions. This has been teamed with a turf-specific lug pattern tailored for high traction on turf and other surfaces encountered during functional exercises like sled pushes and pulls.
