Providing enhanced breathability and comfort, the upper of the Crossfoc Nitro Elite 2 promotes in-shoe freshness for the entirety of your run. Perforations within the upper allow for air to circulate effectively around the foot, allowing for heat to escape, making room for cooling freshness. The material also protects the foot from possible snags and reduces the possibility of distraction while effectively allowing water to drain out, keeping weight to a minimum. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that locks down the midfoot, reducing in-shoe movement for distraction-free strides.

Nitrofoam Elite Foam with PEBAX Plate

The midsole of the Crossfox Nitro Elite 2 features Puma's premium performance Nitrofoam Elite foam, which uses the most cutting-edge materials for high energy return and cushioning at a lighter weight. The foam is cleverly infused with nitrogen, expanding the foam for an ultra-bouncy underfoot experience. When covering hard and unforgiving surfaces, shock is absorbed into the foam, dissipating direct impact and protecting your joints and feet from injury. Absorbed shock is released within your following stride as propulsive energy, giving you a needed motivational boost in every step. Further enhancing the propulsive elements in your stride, a full-length PEBAX plate has been implemented into the design.
