Engineered with two-layer GORE-TEX, this jacket is geared for wet, windy hikes. The outer fabric offers impenetrable waterproof, windproof protection, while Spectra ripstop in key abrasion zones provides lightweight durability.
Constructed using a 2L GORE-TEX fabric, the Devil's Thumb Jacket has your back when the weather decides to take a turn for the worse. It's waterproof, breathable and windproof, keeping you dry and comfortable in challenging conditions. The 2-layer GORE-TEX membrane stops rain and snow from penetrating the jacket's outer layer while heat escapes, keeping you dry and comfortable inside and out. For increased weather protection, The North Face has added a DWR coating, along with an elastic-bound hood with a cinch cord and cord lock to shield you from the elements. When you no longer need the hood up, it can be packed into the hood. For the perfect fit, the jacket features a cinch cord at the hem with a cord lock on each side for adjustability; this also seals out cold winds to keep you warm. To keep the jacket in top condition longer, Spectra ripstop is used in key abrasion zones, withstanding knocks and scrapes when adventuring. The jacket uses a two-way, reverse-coil YKK AquaGuard centre-front zip, making on/off easy while helping control ventilation, teamed with pit-zip venting to keep you cool when temperatures rise. For plenty of storage, the jacket features pack-compatible secure-zip chest and hand pockets to keep essentials secure when on the move. Heat-transfer logos on the left sleeve and back-right shoulder provide that classic The North Face look.
