The 20th evolution of the iconic Gel-Netburner 20, the toughest and most durable model of ASICS' netball family, the shoes will stand up to the punishment of the court, whilst also delivering a lightweight feeling.
Breathable Mesh Upper
Ensuring constant comfort on the court, the Gel-Netburner 20s utilise a breathable mesh upper construction. The shoes supply you with a constant level of airflow, in order to prevent overheating and discomfort within the shoes. This allows you to stay dry, fresh, and ready to win at all times. Strategically placed perforations within the fabrics mean that feet feel cool and cosy, whilst simultaneously flexing around the foot for a perfect fit. As well as being breathable, the upper provides optimal comfort and stability as you move across the court, whilst still protecting your foot from any possible damage. The mesh upper means that the shoe is very lightweight, allowing you to glide effortlessly during a game or training. The shoes featured a padded tongue to enhance comfort whilst also absorbing impact. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system to help lock your feet down to prevent any excessive movement.
FlyeFoam Midsole
The midsole of the Gel-Netburner 20 contains FlyteFoam technology, which provides exceptional bounce back and responsiveness. The midsole possesses outstanding cushioning properties which absorb impact when striking the ground. A removable sockliner is fitted, which can be removed to accommodate a medical orthotic. The sockliner works towards enhancing the foot's natural gait. The midsole also features GEL cushioning systems which are fitted to both the rearfoot and forefoot. This absorbs shock during the impact and toe-off phases, allowing movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions. Lastly, a Trusstic system is fitted, this stabiliser creates a pocket between the system and the midsole, improving arch support and torsion stability.
Durable Rubber Outsole
Providing you with an exceptional level of traction and grip on the court, the Gel-Netburner 20s utilise a durable rubber outsole, a long-lasting reliable compound that will allow you to remain focused on the court. The outsole is lightweight to ensure you remain comfortable on your feet, with a high level of grip that, so you can pivot, turn and run with stability. Rubber is placed on heavy contact areas of the outsole in order to reduce excessive wear without compromising on durability.
