Engineered Woven Upper

Promoting breathability, stretch and durability, the engineered mesh upper on the GT-2000 14 adds motivation to your run. Perforations within the mesh allow or air to circulate throughout and around the foot, allowing warm air to be released, making room for cool fresh air in turn. The material is highly durable, protecting your toes from possible bumps while ensuring the pair are long lasting to you. Asics have added an asymmetric tongue wing, which provides comfort and limits the amount of tongue movement possible while on the go. This is complimented by the traditional lacing system, that effectively provides midfoot lockdown and prevents in-shoe slippage. To complete the upper, reflective detailing had been added, this improves your visibility in low light conditions, and keeps you pushing forwards for longer.

FF BLAST MAX Midsole

Offering a superbly soft, comfortable running experience Asics have used their supreme FF BLAST MAX cushioning. This lightweight foam is highly absorbent, effectively soaking up shock upon impact with the ground, protecting your joints from direct injury. The absorbed impact, pressurises underfoot, before being released within your following stride as propulsive energy, launching you into every PB. To further enhance the shock absorbing properties within the GT-2000 14, Asics have added PureGEL technology to the midsole, guaranteeing soft, cushioned landings every time. While a 3D Guidance system provides better guidance to your foot due to its advanced geometry design, this works alongside PureGEL and FF BLAST MAX foam creating a smooth, controlled stride from landing to toe-off. Atop the midsole is an OrthoLite X-30 Sockliner, which adds even more cushioning underfoot while effectively wicking moisture away from your foot, keeping you dry and motivated.

AHAR LO Outsole

This highly abrasive rubber stays low in density, providing a great balance of lightweight and grippy on the go. The AHAR LO outsole has been strategically placed in high impact areas of the foot for reliable grip and traction over a variety of surfaces. By reducing the amount of rubber from low impact areas, weight is saved and motivation stays high. AHARPLUS rubber has been focused as a Heel Plug, providing enhanced traction for heel strikers. This technology is three times as durable as the standard rubber, offering you with super long lasting shoes. To complete the outsole, Trampoline Outsole Pods have been added, which gives you that needed bounce in your stride, assisting in propelling you forwards with ease.
