GORE-TEX Upper
The perfect hiking companion, the L.I.M Horizon Hike GORE-TEX is made from combined GORE-TEX ePE and Ripstop fabrics for ultimate protection and comfort when hiking difficult trails. The PFAS-free GORE-TEX ePE laminate stops wet weather and moisture from seeping through, to keep feet dry, even during difficult conditions on your trail adventures. The membrane is also super breathable to ensure a fresh sensation, preventing overheating and reducing sweat or moisture build-up within the shoes. The ripstop materials are soft and durable, with a lightweight, breathable structure providing a comfortable wrap-around fit with the ability to move feet flexibly. Abrasive-resistant TPU film overlays protect feet further alongside reinforced toes and heels, for added durability in areas where it's most needed. To lock down the midfoot and ensure a secure fit, the shoes feature traditional laces with two top hooks to make lacing up easy, and the pocket on the tongue gives you somewhere to stash them tidily. Finally, heel and tongue pull tabs make putting the shoes on even easier.
EVA Midsole
Cushioning every step as you tackle changing and tricky terrain, the L.I.M Horizon Hike features a traditional EVA midsole compound. This soft cushioning allows you to hike comfortably by absorbing shocks when striking down, therefore helping to reduce the risks of injury or discomfort on your trails. Absorbing the energy during heel strikes, the EVA expels this back through to your next step, for bouncy, responsive strides.
Vibram XS Trek Rubber Outsole
Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the Vibram XS Trek rubber outsole. This rubber outsole is light, while remaining extremely durable. The outsole is a tough rubber compound used in heavy-contact, high-wear areas, helping cut excessive wear. The high-abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and protects itself from damage and users from losing control and slipping. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath it, the outsole allows you to stay in full control at all times. Equipped to tackle wet and variable terrain, Haglofs have also included flexible, stable, and highly cushioned Vibram Traction Lugs to provide enhanced traction on changing terrain.
