The midsole of the Stinson 7 also uses Deep Active Foot Frame technology to increase responsiveness and feedback by allowing the foot to sit deep into the midsole. This has made the shoe highly adaptable to a wide range of running styles and foot shapes and has been further enhanced with wrap-around side walls for a secure and stable feel. The shoes have a broad midsole and an accommodating fit for a comfortable ride. Hoka's Meta-Rocker midsole geometry is designed with a low heel-toe differential and a sculptured outsole to create a unique fulcrum effect, like a rocking chair, to encourage a guided gait cycle.
