Lightweight RPET Woven Upper
Crafted using eco-friendly materials, the upper of the Speedgoat 7 keeps you focused and fresh for the trail ahead. No sacrifices have been made, as the upper stays lightweight and breathable for you. Perforations within the material allow for maximised airflow around the foot, where warm air has the ability to escape and allow for cool air to enter, preventing foot fatigue. Also featuring a dynamic vamp, the Speedgoat allows for the natural splay of the toes to improve stability and comfort over uneven and rugged terrain, reducing the chances of cramping. To the back is a heel pull tab to assist you with easing the shoes on, helping you get up and out as soon as possible. Hoka have utilised their 'Lay-flat' tongue, which is dual gusseted, minimising in-shoe irritation and holding things in place, alongside the traditional lacing system. The midfoot is securely locked down to avoid unwanted movement. Compatible with a gaiter, the Speedgoat 7 has optional use attachments for blocking dirt and debris from entering. To complete the upper, reflective details have been included to improve visibility in low light conditions, to keep you out on the trail for longer.
SCF EVA Midsole
The super-critically foamed EVA used within the midsole provides you with great rebound and a highly plush and bouncy feel to your run. With a fine, consistent cellular structure, the SCF EVA protects the feet and joints by sparing them from impact as you strike down over unforgiving surfaces. As the foam absorbs shock, this building pressure is then turned over into returned energy for the following strides, to give you added propulsion, pushing you towards PBs. The shoes stay lightweight due to the nature of the foam, keeping you light on your feet and motivated to go the extra mile.
Vibram Megagrip Outsole
This high-performance rubber compound offers unparalleled grip properties on both dry and wet terrains. The Vibram Megagrip is highly durable to the elements and ensures the Speedgoat 7s will go the distance due to the hard-wearing materials. It provides you with confidence in your footing and control over uneven trails with an optimal balance between stability and flexibility for peak performance. Traction lugs have also been included on the outsole with an updated lug orientation for better stability over mixed trails, allowing you to bite down into the ground and secure your footing.
