Jack Wolfskin Terraventure Texapore Low Women's Waking Shoes
This year South Tyrol, next year Switzerland? When your passion is hiking, you also want to give something back to nature. With the Terraventure Texapore Low, it's easy. Because this is Jack Wolfskin's most sustainable hiking shoe.
Recycled Polyester and Waterproof Upper
To use as many recycled materials as possible, Jack Wolfskin have constructed this functional and modern hiking shoe with a recycled polyester upper material and sustainable, waterproof Texapore Ecosphere membrane. The membrane is extremely waterproof whilst remaining breathable for superior protection against the elements without compromising on comfort. The breathable membrane ensures that your feet remain cool throughout your hike. A rubber toe protector gives you confidence on the trail and added durability to the shoe. Lace hooks made of recycled zinc have been teamed with a traditional lacing system to lock down the midfoot to keep you feeling secure as you go.
Vibram EVA Midsole
Even though the focus of the Terraventure Texapore Low is on sustainability, no compromise on functionality has been made. As well as working to keep your feet dry in wet weather, the hiking shoe from Jack Wolfskin also provides particularly good cushioning. Featuring a Vibram cork-mixed EVA midsole, the shoe keeps you cushioning and comfortable on uneven trails, even on those intense day hikes in the hills and mountains. The cork content in the Vibram EVA midsole not only provides comfort but is a sustainable option, being made from a natural resource that can be harvested without cutting down the tree. An Ortholite insole has been made from recycled mesh and recycled PU and rubber for lightweight, breathable comfort that is environmentally friendly.
Vibram ECOSTEP Outsole
Completing the Terraventure Texapore Walking Shoes is a Vibram ECOSTEP outsole that gives you a secure grip on demanding trails. The deep lugs ensure superior traction ideal for demanding terrain so that you can continue on your hike no matter where the trail takes you.
