Expect the unexpected. The 1080v15 is everything that you've come to rely on in an everyday running shoe, delivered by an all-new cushioning technology designed for long-lasting performance, with enhanced cushioning and energy return. This innovative approach also sees a total makeover. This iteration is even lighter than its predecessor, helping you fly freely.
The upper of the 1080v15 has been constructed with an updated, contoured, perforated mesh for breathable comfort. Allowing built-up heat and vapour to escape while fresh air flows through, the shoe's upper provides a pleasant cooling sensation. The upper is lightweight and modern, but with a heritage-inspired look for an effortless retro cool. The traditional lacing system locks down the midfoot for a secure fit, providing confidence-inspiring strides. The moulded contour details offer an expressive look with visual texture and depth, and reflective elements keep you seen in low light conditions.
New Balance's all-new Infinion midsole provides ultra-soft, long-lasting cushioning underfoot for comfort and shock attenuation. It protects your joints as you strike down, and this new compound has been designed for long-lasting performance, meaning you get more bang for your buck and more springy, protected miles under your belt. It won't 'flat out' as fast as other shoes, where the cushioning compresses over time, meaning more runs feel like your first run, and the shoe's life increases significantly. The cushioning provides responsive rebound, utilising the energy of your last step to push you into your next one for speedy steps, long miles and a snappy feel.
Providing grip and traction underfoot, the rubber outsole supplies adhesion for confident strides. It allows you to make those tight turns and corners with ease, helping the tarmac flow underfoot as you rack up the miles. The rubber is also durable, resisting damage over time for long-lasting use and enjoyment.
