Oboz Sawtooth X Low Men's Walking Shoes
Ten years ago, the Sawtooth put Oboz on the map in outdoor footwear. The new Sawtooth X retains all the things that made the original so popular, with the addition of new aggressive styling and new materials like the Adaptive Cushioning Technology midsole-all you need to map out your next adventure.
Nubuck Leather Upper
The upper has been carefully constructed using a nubuck leather to enhance your walking experience. The leather material offers optimal durability on the most demanding of terrains and is exceptionally durable, and stands up to the rigours of trail walking. Mesh perforations also reside in the upper and enable cool air to circulate while at the same time removing unwanted warm air, helping to regulate temperature and create a microclimate where feet can thrive. A TPU heel counter ensures your feet stay locked in and increases stability, making it easy to tackle tough terrain. Heel pull tabs assist in putting the shoes on and off, and completing the upper is a traditional lacing system, which locks the midfoot to prevent excessive movement for a secure fit.
ACT+ Midsole
Engineered for agile performance and comfort, the Sawtooth X uses Oboz's proprietary ACT+ cushioning system. It is a proprietary rubberised EVA that has been formulated for moving quickly on the trail - providing a lightweight cushioned ride that is both responsive and resilient. It attenuates shock as you strike down to protect your joints and muscles and converts that into forward propulsion to keep your feet feeling fresh and energised. An O-fit insole has been added to the Sawtooth, which has been engineered to support the arch and put the foot in a neutral position. This purpose-designed technology delivers the kind of fit, feel and performance that you need.
Trail Tread Outsole
A Trail Tread outsole completes the Sawtooth X and is a favourite for hikers, going the extra mile and giving you a trio of benefits: shedding mud, offering intense traction and maintaining stability. The outsole is exactly what every trekker needs and boasts superior slip resistance, enhanced durability, and improved elongation and tensile strength. Sidewall lugs grip those off-camber trails when you need that additional edge, whilst conserving weight.
