The Patagonia R1 Pullover Hoodie has been created using the light and breathable Polartec Power Grid fleece fabric with HeiQ Pure odour control. The Polartec Fleece creates mechanical wicking, this is where moisture is drawn away from the surface of the skin by the lower surface area of the grid to the larger surface area of the smooth face fabric on the outside of the hoodie. As this pulls moisture away from your body, it makes the grid fleece feel warmer and enables the garment to dry quicker. The added HeiQ odour control prevents the growth of odour-causing microbes, ensuring the hoodie feels and smells fresh for longer. The pullover design of the R1 Hoodie features a half-zip, which assists in easy on and off whilst regulating ventilation, and has also been designed with a longer torso length, helping it to stay tucked in under a harness or pack waistbelt without riding up and causing discomfort. The hood is a snug-fitting, low-profile hood that sits comfortably under a helmet strap. Further enhancing the comfort of the hoodie, Patagonia have used off-shoulder seams that sit comfortably under pack straps, without having to readjust the straps regularly. Finishing the R1 hoodie is the chest pocket big enough to store your essential items and the on-seam thumbholes keep the sleeves in place and prevent rising.
