Anti-Debris Mesh Upper

Crafted from a tight-knit fabric, the upper prevents dirt and debris from being trapped between the foot and the footbed, while perforations within the upper encourage cool air to circulate effectively around the foot. The upper has been made from high-tech materials and a unique construction that ensures fast and effective water evacuation, quickening drying times, so your feet stay comfortable at all times. A solid exterior protects your feet and toes from sharp rocks and uneven terrain, allowing you to concentrate on having fun outdoors. Salomon's SensiFit technology cradles your foot from the midsole to the lacing system, providing a secure, snug and virtually customised fit. Completing the upper is Salomon's quickLACE system, which has been utilised for simple and quick use, allowing you to tighten them in one movement while never loosening unexpectedly for complete confidence in wear. This can be tucked into the lace pocket to avoid laces causing a distraction.

The midsole of the Terramphibian 5 uses Salomon's EnergyCell foam to provide plush cushioning underfoot. As your feet beat hard, unforgiving surfaces, shock is absorbed, dissipating direct impact and protecting your joints and feet from injury. The absorbed energy is then released in your next stride, giving you an added boost, while helping reduce fatigue so you can put the miles in. A moulded EVA sockliner sits atop the midsole, which mimics the foot's natural shape to improve overall comfort.
ContaGRIP FD Outsole
Designed to provide you with the best grip on unpredictable terrain, this Salomon ContaGRIP FD outsole is created for wet surfaces, providing complete control when going through puddles, streams or bodies of water. The rubber is hard-wearing, protecting itself from the rigours of trail surfaces, supporting you as the miles build up with a strong structure to boost your confidence in every step.
