Saucony Xodus ISO 3 Women's Trail Running Shoe
When out on the trails, the last thing you want is weight to weigh you down. The Saucony Xodus ISO 3 Women's Trail Running Shoe not only provides rugged durability for the unpredictable surface below, but the lightweight design will allow you to push yourself further and harder.
Breathable Upper
Air is able to pass through the upper of the shoe easily, which means your feet will stay cool and fresh during the most intense periods of exercise. Moisture within the shoe is removed, keeping you feeling fresh and comfortable. There is an external frame which maintains the shape of the shoes especially in high-impact situations. This will offer protection by holding the foot in place, preventing it from slipping and causing injury. The walls around the heel are firm and strong, which will protect it from rolling out of place. Covering the toes, the material is thicker and firmer, which will absorb shocks from bumping the toes. Up the foot laces and a padded tongue mean that you will always be able to find a comfortable and secure fit. Within the shoe, the insole uses Saucony's ISOFIT. This revolutionary technology developed by Saucony allows the shoe to morph to the foot, making it a more customised fit.
EVERUN Midsole
Protection and stability is extremely important on a trail running shoe. Using Saucony's EVERUN midsole, this guarantees full-foot protection and support. Towards the bottom of the shoe, the EVA is thicker and more densely packed. This absorbs shocks instantly and effectively, meaning that any loose rocks or other sharp traumas are not felt by the sole of the foot. The further up the midsole you go, the EVA changes in properties, as it is less firm to provide cushioning to the bottom of the foot. This results in steady long-term comfort which you will be able to enjoy all day long. The EVERUN midsole will provide a more responsive ride than previous shoes, making the whole gait feel seamless, as landings are smoother and takeoffs firmer.
PWRTRAC Outsole
When you need control most on slippery, wet and loose trails, the shoe benefits from having a PWRTRAC outsole. Developed by Saucony to increase traction and control, the durable rubber is able to grip onto and form a solid connection with a wide range of different surfaces. When running on slightly harsher ground, the rubber is abrasion-resistant, which means that it will stand up to bumps and knocks, increasing the lifespan of the shoes. Deep multi-directional lugs are placed strategically to dig into surfaces as well as aid take-offs, braking and sharp changes of direction.
