Scarpa Ribelle Cross 2 Mid GORE-TEX Women's Walking Boots

The Ribelle Cross 2 Mid GORE-TEX is the ideal light hiking boot designed to provide a dynamic and versatile experience. The one-layer effect upper, made of a mix of technical fabric and TPU, combines lightweight and durability, wrapping around the midsole to provide stability on all terrains. The tread is designed to ensure protection and excellent traction during both pushing and braking, with a geometry designed to provide grip on every surface.

Mesh and TPU Film Upper

Providing exceptional levels of breathability, the upper of the Ribelle Cross 2 Mid has been constructed using a technical mesh fabric with a one-layer effect to keep you cool, comfortable and light over the trail. The mesh material allows cool air to enter the boot and circulate for a cooling sensation whilst also allowing any intolerable build-up of warmth to escape. Teamed with this lightweight, breathable fabric is a TPU film in key areas that adds durability to the upper. Utilising a GORE-TEX ePE membrane, the Ribelle Cross 2 Mid supplies feet with waterproof protection when the weather takes a turn for the worse on your outdoor adventure. This high technical performance membrane prevents water from entering to keep your feet dry without compromising breathability. To further keep the rain off, a PFA-free DWR has been integrated. The mid-cut 3D Autofit collar provides stability over uneven terrains, and the differentiated lacing with webbing straps in the lower section (for precision without constriction) and top hooks provides a locked-in fit that prevents in-shoe slippage. The upper has been designed with Scarpa's Activ Fit system to ensure a comfortable fit, it is developed through research to provide the optimal shape for men's and women's shoes dependent on the sport.

EVA Midsole

An EVA platform resides underfoot to provide you with lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA midsole ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which absorbs shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole. The energy produced will also be returned as a rebound, adding spring to your step. The midsole ensures you're ready for the unpredictable trails and tough terrain.

PRESA HIK-06 Outsole

A PRESA HIK-06 sole, developed by SCARPA, completes the Ribelle Cross 2 Mid GORE-TEX. Made using the perfect blend of durability and grip for on and off-road adventures, the PRESA HIK outsole provides great traction on multiple terrains for use on all your adventures. This is achieved thanks to Scarpa's sole design, which has been made with 4 key areas: the propulsion area in the midfoot, the braking area in the heel, a maximum grip area along the toes, finished with a stability area through the midfoot, arch and heel. The pronounced multi-directional lugs and enlarged studs provide the needed amount of grip, especially in wet conditions, providing a solid base to push off from. The rubber is abrasion-resistant, retaining its shape and definition despite its use on hard and rough surfaces.
