Ripstop Mesh Upper

The Kinabalu have an extremely lightweight and durable ripstop mesh upper that keeps your feet ventilated and fresh. The mesh fabric encourages air to circulate, whilst built-up heat escapes. This will mean that your feet will stay cool and comfortable on those long runs. With quick-drying properties, sweat and moisture build-up is reduced, for dry feet when your workout becomes intense. Feet stay dry in poor weather with waterproof, windproof and breathable protection from the GORE-TEX membrane, which also wicks moisture and sweat to prevent an uncomfortable build-up of both. The soft, padded heel collar sits close to the ankle for increased comfort, while the minimal tongue reduces the chance of irritation caused by rubbing. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system which locks the midfoot to prevent excessive movement for a secure fit.

Kinetic Fusion Foam Midsole

Providing you with a smooth and plush ride, the shoes feature a dual-density Kinetic Fusion midsole. Fusing EVA and PEBAX, the midsole works to absorb impact, return energy, and maintain a consistent feel in all temperatures so you feel fresh throughout your run. Designed for the trail but built for any run, it offers a smooth, propulsive ride that keeps you moving effortlessly, no matter the distance or conditions. A newly developed Evolved Rocker3 also features within the midsole and adds a third plane to the ER2 for medio-lateral guidance. The geometry is designed to guide runners through their natural stride and provide support where needed.

Versatile Traction Rubber Outsole

The Versatile Traction Outsole offers exceptional grip that will help you stay in control of every step for longer. The rubber used is extremely durable, meaning it can retain all its properties over a long time. The lugs are strategically positioned to give you outstanding traction and control over the different levels of rocks, roots and trails. As beneficial on dry ground as in deep mud or wet surfaces, the lugs can dig into the ground, assisting with takeoffs by securing your foot and providing a firm base to take off from. It will also dig into the ground as you start to break, giving you full control at all times.
