Sprayway Ivar Jacket

A warm down jacket built to keep cold winter days at bay. The Ivar Jacket uses a highly durable polyamide ripstop and warming duck down to keep you comfortable through any adventure.

Constructed using a TecShell polyamide ripstop fabrication the Sprayway Ivar Jacket is lightweight, durable and highly water-resistant. The Ivar Jacket uses a combination of TecSHELL Loft 40D and TecSHELL 20D to bring you a truly durable garment fit for a variety of outdoor use. The ripstop fabrication resists the risks of wear and tear ensuring peace of mind as you explore the unbeaten path. The fabrication protects agaisnt knocks and scrapes increases durability and preventing the garment from becoming frayed or worn. As well as this, the face fabric is highly windproof meaning it protects agaisnt strong winds to keep you toasty and warm in cold weather conditions. Not only is the jacket windproof but it also boasts a water-resistant outer which repels light rain and snow to keep you comfortable and dry during the winter months plus, the fabric is also downproof to reduce the risk of your down feathers poking a hole in your new outdoor jacket. A Duck Down has been used within the fabrication; it offers unbelievable insulation by trapping warm air inside the garment for maximum warmth at minimum weight. The trapped air keeps your core temperature stabilised at all time so you can remain warm and comfortable when the mercury drops. The down-proof fabric is tightly woven and prevents the down from working through the jacket. Responsibly sourced the down used in this jacket is traceable and allows both the manufacturer and the end-user to track their down from garment to source. Down garments are by nature very packable because the loft can simply be compressed out by rolling the garment up plus, this down jacket feature a stitch-through baffle construction to hold the down in place and prevents it from slipping.

A fully adjustable hood with tuck away faceguard feature is quick and easy to use, so when the rain starts to fall, you can shape the hood and cover your head quickly and with little hassle. It can also be detached when not in use. As well as this, a full-zip exists for complete temperature control, it can be worn up to seal in the heat and zipped down to release an intolerable heat build-up plus, an insulated placket prevents weather entry through the zip to keep you feeling toasty and warm. The hem has an adjustable drawcord, which makes tightening and loosening to size easy to achieve. This can be adjusted to make it more comfortable, or to block wind from entering the jacket and causing discomfort. Adjustable cuffs on the wrist mean that you can tighten and loosen them to retain heat, as well as changing them if they are causing you discomfort. On the front of the jacket, 2 zippered hand pockets are perfect for cold winter days or if you need a place to stash a few essential items or they are big enough to store a map. Lastly, the jacket is supplied with a stuff sack for quick and easy storage.
