Loaded with 700-fill down insulation, the Classic Hooded Down Jacket offers mega warmth in freezing conditions.

The Classic Down hooded jacket features WindWall technology, which is engineered to reduce the effects of chilling winds and maintain a good level of breathability for optimum comfort and coverage. Coated onto the fabric is a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish, shielding you from rainy and wet weather. Within the jacket, recycled waterfowl down has been used to retain heat. This down comprises a blend of reclaimed duck and goose down sourced from discarded post-consumer items, such as bedding and jackets. The jacket can usefully be combined with specific North Face products (specified in features) by simply zipping the jacket directly to another jacket for double warmth. Within the centre-front zip an internal draft flap has been implemented into the design, preventing cold gusts from entering the jacket, while the hem is adjustable with a cinch cord and the cuffs have been elasticated to further enhance heat retention. An adjustable hood has been added, allowing you to shield your head and ears from blistering chills, with a cinch cord located on the rear. The hand pockets have concealed zips for a sleek look while securely holding small essentials; an internal pocket allows you to store items and also doubles as a stuff sack, packing the jacket snug for compact carrying.
