adidas Terrex GORE-TEX Junior Walking Shoes

They'll hit the trail and keep moving. These kids' hiking shoes are built with a durable upper and a sturdy outsole that gives your young explorer a surefooted grip on the path ahead. The GORE-TEX lining provides dry comfort.

GORE-TEX Upper

Constructed using a durable ripstop upper, the adidas Terrex GORE-TEX Junior Walking Shoes ensure protection on harsh terrain. Working to keep the shoes looking newer for longer, the ripstop upper resists wear and tear to increases overall durability. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoes, supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; so sweat is kept to a minimum and you are kept cool and comfy. Completing the Terrex GORE-TEX Junior Walking Shoes is a speed lacing system which locks down the midfoot and allows for quick and easy adjustments.

Lightweight EVA Midsole

A full-length platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The midsole ensures your little ones are ready for the unpredictable trails and tough terrain.

Continental Rubber Outsole

The Terrex walking shoe features a Rubber outsole from Continental. Their decades of experience with tyres has allowed Continental to develop an elite rubber outsole that allows you to reach unprecedented levels of both speed and safety, whether you are on flats, uphill, or downhill. The winter compounds created by Continental are used on their award-winning tyres, so you can rely on this outsole for outstanding traction and control. An adidas Continental sole gives you 30% more grip on dry and wet surfaces; as you run you can feel this incredible technology working and keeping you safe, whether you are on mud, grass, stone, snow or ice. Lastly, outsole cutouts have been used to reduce the overall weight of the shoe and to provide multi-directional grip.
